Sign up for a New Here Dinner Party

The vast majority of Jesus's ministry was done over the dinner table. One scholar says, "It's hard to find a moment where Jesus isn't either going to, at or coming from a meal." In the same way, we want to create a relational environment for those of you who are still new to learn more about Orbit Church. New Here Dinner Parties are a place for attendees, volunteers and leaders to connect with one another and hear about the church.

You'll notice that we don't have a date listed. That is because this isn't simply an event. It's the beginning of our relationship with you. When you sign up for a dinner party, we will reach out to you directly to invite you, help you secure child care if necessary and plan a dinner that you'll appreciate. Locations and meals may need to change based on who signs up, so we want to maintain that flexibility.

We used to do a next steps class after each service. While it was helpful for many, the vibe wasn't really who we are (too much of a classroom feel ). So rather than doing an event on Sunday, we wanted to create a relational environment for you to truly learn, ask questions and connect with others. We know that it won't be as convenient as the Sunday events, but it'll be a better introduction into who we are as a church and a more relaxed atmosphere for you to meet new people.
